For too many years, I have hidden behind a cloud of doubt,

A cloud of shame,

A cloud sadly put there by no-one but myself.

I doubted my ability to succeed and success scared me.

I was too scared to take any risks.

I wasn't brave enough and feared being ridiculed and laughed at.

Instead of taking risks I laughed at my dreams.

No more will I hide in the shadows,

No more will I laugh at my dreams,

No more will I live in that cloud called doubt.
